    Foresite is a water-based mold and mildew resistant coating and sealer for new construction, remodeling, decks and patio areas, attics and crawl-spaces, bath and kitchens, mold remediation and water clean-ups. Foresite provides long-term, residual protection against water intrusion, excessive moisture, mold and mildew growth.

    where can i use it?

    • Can be used interior and exterior.(but doesn’t last as long in areas with direct exposure to rain/water.
    • Wood, Oriented Strand Board (OSB), Sheathing.
    • Bare wallboard/sheetrock
    • Concrete, Stucco, Brick, Masonry and tile
    • Many fabrics (awnings, shower curtains)
    • ForSite provides excellent protection for grout lines (e.g.., overtop of an existing grout sealer like AFM’s grout sealer)
    • ForSite can help prevent the growth of mold on decks/railings (apply over existing deck finish)

    how much do i need?

    • With airless sprayer: up to 1600 sf/gal (1000 sf typ at 3 mm thickness)
    • With pump sprayer, brush or roller: 150-450 sf/gal (depending upon surface porosity and how thinly it is applied)
    • With the aerosol can, the coverage rate is: 50sf/can or 533sf/gal (about $0.21/sf)
    • This is a one coat product

    how do i install or apply it?

    • If applying over an already moldy area, remove the mold and mildew before applying the ForSite. Repair any source of water/moisture intrusion before applying ForSite
    • Prep surface: remove all oil, grease, standing water, mold and mildew
    • Mix ForSite thoroughly before and during application
    • Apply in temps between 40-90 degrees F
    • Be sure to apply in a very thin coat
    • Do not over apply ForSite or allow product to puddle on the surface. Excess material should be removed to avoid cracking and peeling of the coating
