    the story

Offering the polished look of granite with colors inspired by nature and small particulates, Trinity Pacific can satisfy your desire for a natural stone appearance without the negative environmental impacts of quarried material. Trinity Pacific’s design isn’t flashy or overstated so it will simply and beautifully complement its surroundings in both contemporary and traditional homes.

Developed and produced in Washington State by the innovator behind Squak Mountain Stone, Trinity Pacific Glass Products are individually handcrafted composite surfaces made from recycled glass and low-carbon cement. The surfaces are used for countertops, tabletops, and more.

Unlike other recycled glass surfaces on the market, the glass particulates are extremely small providing a more uniform, neutral and natural look for the countertop. Each piece is individually manufactured and carefully inspected for holes, flatness and dimensional accuracy.

    performance

Because of its high glass content, Trinity Pacific Glass Products are extremely scratch-resistant and heat resistant—although heat may damage the sealer.

    at home

When finished with our recommended sealers and finishes, Trinity Pacific recycled glass products contain no harmful ingredients that would off-gas into your home.

    on the community

Trinity Pacific products are manufactured in the Seattle area by a small, woman-owned business: Tiger Mountain Innovations.

    on the planet

Trinity Pacific is made from locally-sourced, recycled glass (70%) and a special “low carbon cement” that releases 30% less CO2 than regular cement releases during its production.

The glass content comes from both post-consumer and/or pre-consumer recycled glass locally sourced from the Seattle area (including curbside recycling programs) as well as from pre-consumer window glass.

By using recycled instead of raw materials in the manufacture of this product, Trinity Pacific is able to reduce demand for raw materials, thereby reducing the severe ecological impacts of mines and quarries around the world. Produced in the Pacific Northwest, these products also have a considerably smaller carbon footprint than stone that must be shipped from around the world.

    where can i use it?

Trinity Pacific surfaces can be used for countertops, tabletops, desk tops, and more in both residential and commercial applications.

    how do i install it?

Trinity Pacific can be fabricated using traditional diamond stone fabrication tools by a professional fabricator. Pro-install only.

Recommended sealer: Miracle Cover (water-based 100% silicone sealer) (two coats)
Recommended finish: Tung Oil by Twisp Environmental (two coats total.) We recommend the Twisp Tung Oil 75.

A paste wax such as Howard’s Paste Wax product can be used overtop of the Tung Oil to increase the gloss level.

    how do i maintain it?

As with all stone and cement-based countertops, surfaces must be sealed periodically to ensure ongoing resistance to food and grease stains. One special feature of Trinity Pacific is that if a surface does get damaged by acid etching, the blemish can usually be polished out and the appearance of the stone restored.

We recommend using Tung Oil to refresh the countertop. This is most important in high use areas to refresh the finish. First clean the surface with soap and water and dry thoroughly. Then rub in a small amount of Tung Oil with a cotton cloth and allow to sit for no more than 10 minutes. Then buff dry with a cotton cloth.

We have tested our recommended sealers and have found that they resist acids (think salsa) for about 30 minutes. Like most cement or stone-based countertops, Trinity Pacific can stain or acid etch even when it has been finished with the appropriate sealers. You can reduce the risk of staining and etching by wiping up stains immediately and providing proper maintenance (frequent reapplication of the sealer).

The manufacture provides a patch kit to use in the rare chance that a corner gets chipped or broken.
