how much do i need?
Quantities needed vary by type of plaster. Reference the PDF files on the colors and styles tab for recommended quantities.
how is it applied?
Lime plasters can be mixed in standard cement mixers. Standard Natural Hydraulic Lime Plaster will need to be mixed with sand or is available pre-mixed as “EcoMortar.”
Application varies by type of plaster and coat (Scratch Coat, Brown Coat or Finish Coat) but in general can be sprayed or troweled on by hand. Product should be applied with temperatures between 40 and 85 degrees Fahrenheit.
Avoid rapid drying due to high temperatures or strong winds by curing with a light water mist several times a day if necessary. Protect from frost, rain, direct sun and strong winds for a minimum of 48-96 hours, depending on plaster type.
Reworking is possible within 8-24 hours, depending on the plaster used.
